Brian Melick: News

Lots of stuff going on these days... - January 8, 2009

Very excited to be producing and presenting several concert series’ highlighting diversity again in 2010. These performance opportunities feature several different artists that I continue to be fortunate to perform with. Please stop back to check my calendar for a listing of artists that will be joining me and the specific details of each venue and performance.

* I will be presenting for a 6th year my "Spring Music Residency" at the Chapel + Cultural Center on Burdett Avenue, Troy, NY in April.

* For a second year I will be presenting along with RCS Community Library a four part concert series entitled "Acoustic Doorways". This music series has been made possible by a 2010 grant from the Art$Fund program, which is funded by the State and Local partnership program of the New York State Council on The Arts in collaboration with the Arts Center of the Capital Region, and the RCS Community Library

* This is the first time I will be presenting a multi part concert series entitled "Shifting Elements" in my home town of New Baltimore. I am very very happy to hear that my church and the Arts Council of Greene County are behind me in this endeavor. We are approaching the final stages and will be able to put the final touches on the arrangements very soon.

I have been also utilizing my facebook account a lot to upload lots of videos from concert performances from both my series as well as concerts from different parts of the country that I have been very fortunate to be a part. I have also posted a nice cross section of music from my various releases. Please stop by and connect with me on Facebook. I would love to hear what you think of the music...

Thank you for your continued support and well wishes...

Stay well and I wish you all a wonderful happy healthy safe and prosperous New Year

Please check back from time to time to view my performance / workshop schedule. Look forward to crossing paths with you all again.
