Well - Happy Happy New Year!!! I wish you a Wonderful, Happy, Healthy and Safe 2009.
I can't tell you how excited I am to be presenting for a 4th year in a row my music residency at the Chapel and Cultural Center on Burdett Street in Troy. This year I am celebrating 5 very diverse trio's. Please check my schedule out so you can see who all these wonderfully dynamic artists are that will be joining me. We have made the start time a little earlier in hopes to have more of our smaller friends come out to be with us.
I also am very excited about a new concert series thgat I am presenting with the wonderful folks at the RCS Community Library in Ravena, NY. It will be a four part concert series over the course of the next 5 months with taking March off for "Music in our Schools" month. Do not want to compete with that in any way. Please also visit my schedule to see who will be with me during the next several months. The series starts with Bossambajazz - Brazilian Romance on Jan. 30th at 7:30. Please contact the Library for ticket info at (518) 756-2053 series title is: Acoustic Doorways
On another note over the holiday months I released my second cd entitled "Diverse Elements" it is a body of work that I have been working on for some time. It features 6 solos and 6 duets with my friends. the concept was simple really. Create compositions out of coloring together. My friends that joined me on this wonderful journey are as follows; Eric Marczak: Native American Flutes, Whistles, & Synths, Studio Stu: Washtub Bass, Vocal & Mouth Trumpet, Mark Dziuba: Guitar, Rena Graf: Vocals, Charlie Tokarz: Clarinet, Sax, & Flute, Doug Moody: Violin, Viola, & Electric Violin
Keeping a very diverse schedule up and am looking forward to crossing paths with all of you. Please check back from time to time to check my dates and latest releases.
Thank you for your continued support and well wishes...
Stay well and warm -
